Shahjahan Sheikh Issue: ED slams Bengal police over Shahjahan arrest

The state police is again under question in the Sandeshkhali case. ED lawyer compared Shahjahan Sheikh with Osama Bin Laden in the court today. According to him, Shahjahan is doing voice messages like bin Laden. So why can’t the police find it, that is the question. The court is also not happy with the role of the police. During the hearing of the case on Wednesday, the ED lawyer said, “There is no trust in the police investigation. We object to the state investigation. The state has added a new clause to show that it is investigating.” Alternate Justice Jai Sengupta questioned whether Shahjahan Sheikh was involved in the PMLA crime or not. ED’s lawyer said, no.
