Horrific attack on Pak army by Baloch rebels, 6 including Major killed

The Baloch rebels again launched a vicious attack on the Pakistani army. A landmine blast in southern Balochistan on Friday killed seven soldiers, including an army major. The Baloch Liberation Army has claimed responsibility for the attack.

A Pak army spokesman said six people, including a major of the Frontier Corps, were returning from Buleda, a small valley in the Kech district of southern Balochistan, on Friday. At that time their car was attacked with a landmine. The blast took place 14 km from the Pakistan-Iran border. He said the group of six, including the major, had gone to the Buleda Valley to see the possible movements of the terrorists. The name of the deceased Major is Nadeem Abbas Bhatti. He was a resident of Hafizabad town in Punjab province. According to the local media Balochistan Post, the Baloch Liberation Army, which is fighting for independence, has claimed responsibility for the attack. According to another website, the four-armed group, Baloch Razi Ajoi Sangar, carried out the attack.
